Assessment

Assessment is an ongoing activity in the classroom as teachers use the results to determine the effectiveness of teaching, the mastery of particular skills and concepts by children and to diagnose individual strengths and weaknesses and to decide what a child should be taught next.

Every student is assessed as per Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation which comprises of assessments, tests (written as well as oral), assignments, presentation, activities, projects, worksheets. It is also based on regularity and competence in presentation of class work and home work. This would require them to work in a regular and systematic manner.

As per CBSE guidelines apart from written tests which are named as periodic tests, the internal assessments include notebook submission and subject enrichment activities for scholastic areas.

Assessments are also conducted for Work Education, Art Education, Health and Physical Education and Discipline.
